Animation and interaction can be used to help supplement the project through engagement, usability, and guidance. Users can stay engaged through their senses, viewing the movement on the screen, scroll along with interaction with their mouse, or hear the audio from videos. Additionally, users can use the videos and images directly on the site. The users can be guided through hovering over pages in the navigation. With animation and interactions, users can maintain engagement and immerse themselves into the content more.

Within this website, in particular, animation and interactions have been implemented in numerous ways. The parallax scrolling effect has been added to each page. All the screenshot images have hover animations. There is a Quizlet application embedded into the review.

Instructional Design Theories

This website was created around the temporal contiguity, learner control, and coherence instructional design theories. There are brief descriptions underneath each video and there are closed captions within. Additionally, The users will have numerous opportunities to facilitate their learning. They have the option to visit specific pages and control the pace of the videos. If a user wants to leave the site, they can always revisit. The resource, overall being a website, allows all levels of learners to have the ability to control their learning through unlimited access and review, which removes the limitation of time.
